  • Reference and research sources
  • Tips and tricks
  • Your experiences with online auctions
  • Profiles of successful online users/auctioners
  • Issues affecting online users (i.e., eBay's instituting fee for  reserve pricing)

Articles should be 100–500 words in length

Collector's Corner

Collector's Corner appears in every  issue. It consists of eight  sections: Antiques, Coins/Stamps, Comics, Memorabilia, Porcelain/Pottery, Sports  Collectibles, Toys, Games, Dolls and Potluck. Each section is assigned to a  "mini-editor" who writes about topics of interest to collectors in each area.  Potluck is a revolving section with a different topic each issue. (There can be two mini-editors per section IF those  people can  coordinate their schedules and topics)

Some ideas for coverage  for Collector's Corner:

  • How-to techniques
  • Useful Web sites w/ short descriptions of each
  • Associations/clubs with contact info
  • Reference books/tools/magazines
  • Upcoming shows & conferences
  • Interesting facts & figures

Editor is looking for mini-editors that are extremely knowledgeable  in their category, who regularly use online auctions and who can meet a monthly deadline 10  months/year. Each mini-editor will get a byline: name, email address and an  auction handle. If desired, a business name & URL could be included at editor's  discretion. Each mini-editor will also receive a free  subscription to AuctionBytes.com.
