$425 for an Empty Box?

When an eBay seller listed an auction item as "Playstation 2 Original Box And Receipt," an unfortunate bidder discovered he had purchased an empty box for $425. A newspaper in the U.K. picked up the story http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/16450.html and it was the subject of several threads in the AuctionBytes chat forum.

At publication time, there were still several empty Playstation boxes for sale on eBay, with one reaching $450.
