Over the next several days, eBay will be implementing changes to its "Buy It Now" feature. According to eBay, the revisions were based on user feedback and should be fully functional within the week. Here are some of the new features and requirements for Buy It Now:
- Sellers using Buy It Now have at least 10 feedback points or be ID verified.
- Buyers using Buy It now must either have a Credit Card on file with eBay or be ID verified.
- For items with a "Reserve" price, the Buy It Now feature will stay in place until the reserve has been met. After the Reserve Price has been reached the Buy It Now icon will disappear.
- Buy It Now will no longer be supported in the mature audience categories.
eBay also announced that they will be working on implementing the Buy It Now feature on eBay Motors and on the eBay International sites.
