Reading AuctionBytes: Bobbleheads: The Hot New Collectible?

Makers of Bobbleheads are hoping that the toy will become the most desired collectible at baseball stadiums throughout America this season. BD&A is about to roll out bobblehead promotions for 14 Major League Baseball teams. More than 650,000 miniature head-bobbing player look-alikes will be handed to fans this season at baseball games. The ceramic figures measure 7 inches and weigh 1-pound, and are a revival the kitschy bobbing-head figures from the 60s.
