Love for Auction

LoveBid.com launched a personals site conducted in an online auction format. LoveBid.com members can "find love and friendship" on the service in two different ways. They can place a free ad, upload their picture and wait for suitors to come "bidding." Or, they can actively seek out potential mates or friends by searching member profiles and then submitting "bids." Once a bid is placed, communication through LoveBid's safe and anonymous email system is enabled. Members can see how popular they are by the bids they get. Just like a traditional auction, personal ads expire, and a member can get "outbid" when others submit bids on the same ad. So it's up to members to monitor their online relationships
or risk losing their prize to some more savvy player. No personal information is ever released to other members. The site also incorporates a feedback feature to help ensure honesty and integrity among its members. http://www.lovebid.com
