KB Toys, the nation's largest combined mall-based and online specialty toy retailer, successfully bid for substantially all of eToys.com's inventory as part of the auction process in eToys.com's bankruptcy proceedings. The inventory, representing many categories including preschool, games, girls and boys toys, video hardware and software, and specialty and collectible items, represents more than $40 million in merchandise at retail prices. KB Toys plans to offer the merchandise to customers at considerable savings through both its stores and its online division, KBkids.com. http://www.kbkids.com
