Reading AuctionBytes: Buy Me Some Peanuts, Crackerjacks and Authentic Memorabilia

Major League Baseball announced that its auction site, which debuted on April 1st, uses the Major League Baseball Authentication Program. The program is the first of its kind by any professional sports league and provides a guarantee that the game used memorabilia and autographs presented are genuine. Every item is authenticated by Arthur Andersen, and includes an official MLB hologram, a unique serial number and MLB logo. http://www.fairmarket.com/news/releases/mlb.htm http://auction.mlb.com
