In a reversal of last week's policy, EBay will now permit users to add clickable email link from the "View Item" page of their auctions.

According to the new policy:

  • Users may link to organizations that they are a member of such as the Better Business Bureau, OAUA, or Squaretrade?
  • Users may NOT link to charity auctions from the "View Item" page. Users MAY link to charity auctions from their "About Me" page.
  • Users may not link to other pages that they have developed from the View Item page, such as pages with information for new eBay Users?
  • Users may link to informational or help pages that you or others have developed from their About Me page. - Users may not embed an image of a URL in their photos on my View Item page.
  • Users may link to multiple images of their item from the View Item page. - Users may link to a gallery of my eBay items from the View Item page.
