CNET reports that a group funded by Microsoft competitors views the company's new XP operatiang system and .Net strategy as a way to "extend its monopoly." .Net (dot net) is Microsoft's vision of "enabling access to all of a user's data and applications anywhere and from any device." eBay had announced in March an alliance with Microsoft and said it would create a .Net-enabled version of the eBay API platform, among other things. http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1003-200-5965473.html
