A subscriber alerted us to an email that they had received entitled, "Amazon4you Hot New Program." In the email, users are invited to join an "Open Mail" program. This program purportedly allows members to advertise their auctions, among other things, to a mailing list of as many as 40 million members. There is also a "bonus" for clicking through to a site that advertises a NextCard Visa card. At first glance, this email seems to be from Amazon.com, however, a spokesperson from Amazon.com confirmed that they had no relationship with Amazon4you.com.
