King & Associates, a privately held company that owns and manages several major Web sites, launched its third major website last week, UpperBid.com. UpperBid.com offers free listing fees to sellers and charges final value fees of 4% if for items from $1.00 to $20.00, 2% for items from $20.01 to $1000.00 and 1% for items $1000.01. In addition to catering to the general public of Internet auction goers, Robert King, President of King & Associates, plans on integrating the auction site with their Web site CashMap.com (an incentive program) to reward community members who participate in buying or selling at the auction. The company will also cross-promote all three sites within the network for further leverage of the entire network as a whole. http://www.upperbid.com
