Introducing: Ebay Stores

Ebay opened the curtain on their latest feature on Monday: eBay Stores. Frequent sellers can now establish their own specialized store fronts and sell their items in a fixed-price format. eBay kicked off the program with a two-week pilot involving leading eBay sellers, but will make the feature available to all qualified sellers beginning next week. Sellers who qualify to open an eBay Store will pay a monthly subscription fee of five cents per item as well as a "Final Value" fee of 1.25 to 5 percent of the sales price. In September, sellers will pay a monthly subscription fee of $9.95, as well as 5 cents per item, to list products for sale.
