Buyers will now be able to browse eBay Stores by category and search across Stores for items available for immediate purchase. The auction site, which rolled out eBay Stores last week is adding a Category Store Directory page for each top-level category within the eBay Store Directory. Buyers will be able browse the Category Store Directory pages and will have the option to sort alphabetically. Buyers will only be able to search across Stores for fixed price items within the eBay Store Directory. Store owners have been directed to go to the Store Builder and choose a primary top-level category where they want their Store to appear. Until a category is chosen, a Store will fall under the Everything Else Category. The eBay Stores Directory will also include an "All Stores" store listings page where every eBay Store will appear.
