eBay released its second quarter earnings yesterday, posting consolidated net revenues of $180.9 million for the three months ended June 30th. eBay hosted 98.7 million listings during the quarter, 58% higher than the previous year's Q2 listings. Online payment service fees, advertising revenues, international operations, expanded third-party advertising and end-to-end service and promotion revenues contributed to revenue in the second quarter. eBay said consolidated net revenues in the second half of 2001 could be as much as $15-$30 million higher than previously indicated, or as much as $385-$400 million for the period.
