eBay Will Credit Some Fees for Picture Services Glitch

On August 7th, many eBay users were affected by technical issues with eBay Picture Services, a service provided by iPIX. eBay will credit certain fees for listings that used eBay Picture Services and ended during, or within one hour of the end of, the downtime (times listed above). For these listings, it will automatically credit: insertion fees and eBay Picture Service fees. eBay's announcement board read in part, "As a result of this situation, we will evaluate a revision of our outage policy and post it to the site in the near future."
