Several users reported to AuctionBytes.com that they had received their Daily Status emails from eBay with a little different look - the subject lines were written in German. The subject line, which read, "eBay Deutschland Auction Watch Status Ihrer Auktionen und Gebote vom:
09.08.01 10:37:33 MESZ" translates loosely into "eBay Germany Auction Watch status of your auctions and requirements of." The body of the Daily status emails were written in English. eBay spokesperson Kevin Pursglove confirmed that the problem had been reported and told AuctionBytes, "It does not appear to be a widespread problem right now. It seems to be happening sporadically. We're still trying to get a handle on it."
