Yahoo Store will implement a new four-part pricing model that lowers the barrier to entry and equitably shares costs with merchants, making it easier for businesses to open and operate a Yahoo Store. Beginning in October, Yahoo Store merchants will pay a $49.95 monthly hosting fee, a .5% fee for all transactions conducted through their Yahoo Store, a 10-cent per-product insertion fee, and a 3.5% revenue share for sales driven through the Yahoo network, including Yahoo Shopping. Yahoo also said it entered into an agreement with GotMarketing allowing Yahoo Store merchants to design direct-marketing emails in order to increase exposure and attract new customers. http://store.yahoo.com
