Over 400 lots of New York City memorabilia will be offered on Tuesday, September 25th, at Swann Auction Galleries in its second annual New York Sale. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the United Way of New York City and The New York Community Trust's September 11th Fund to support the immediate and longer-term needs of the victims, their families, and communities affected by the tragic events of September 11th. The sale, composed of 405 lots ranging in value from $80 to $8,000 and dating from the early 1800s to the 1970s, contains many one-of-a-kind items related to the history of New York City.
