Enrico Fermi, one of the preeminent physicists of the atomic age, was honored by the U. S. Postal Service September 29th when a new commemorative postage stamp was issued at the University of Chicago. The
34-cent Enrico Fermi stamp is available at post offices across the country beginning today, October 1st. October is National Stamp Collecting Month. http://www.usps.com
