Out-of-Print Book Sites Merge: Abebooks. com Acquires JustBooks

Abebooks.com (Advanced Book Exchange Inc.), a leading worldwide Internet platform for antiquarian, out-of-print and second-hand books, has acquired Europe’s JustBooks, effective October 1st. JustBooks is a leading European Internet platform for second-hand books with Web sites in German, English and French and a selection of over 5 million books. Together, JustBooks and abebooks.com will share a membership of 10,000 book dealers and nearly 35 million books, facilitating between 8,000 and
12,000 transactions a day.
