Problems Accelerate AuctionWatch's Implementation of eBay's API
By Ina Steiner

AuctionWatch, which already had plans to implement eBay's API development tools, moved up the launch date due to problems caused by eBay changes on its site. eBay charges third-party vendors for access to its development tools (API) so that when eBay makes changes to its site, the vendors' software will continue to work. AuctionWatch implemented the API on Wednesday, and now expects its services to be more stable.
