Half.com, a site that allows members to buy and sell used items, has entered into an agreement with Vcommerce Corporation to bring its extensive network of direct-ship vendors to the Half.com site. Vcommerce's distribution partners include Baker & Taylor, Ingram Entertainment and Alliance Entertainment. Vcommerce offers Half.com customers new products in the books, movies, music and video games categories, and it will soon offer computers, consumer electronics and sporting goods products. According to the company, they have already sold more than 70,000 items on Half.com. "Half.com continues to be known for its broad selection of used and overstock products at great prices, and now Vcommerce helps us dramatically increase our new product offerings to the millions of people who visit our site," said Chris Fralic, vice president of Business Development for Half.com, an eBay-owned company.
