A federal judge dismissed eight class-action lawsuits against Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co.'s Internet analyst Mary Meeker. A group of investors had sued the analyst, alleging she had provided biased research on eBay and Amazon. http://www.stuff.co.nz/inl/index/0,1008,968758a1897,FF.html
