Amazon.co.uk has launched an e-Book store, featuring hundreds of business, fiction and children's titles based in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). The announcement comes after Adobe launched its international Acrobat eBook Readers at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Adobe and Amazon.com forged an initial eBook alliance in April of this year, with plans for an international rollout by end of 2001.
