eBay has made some changes to its new Checkout feature based on user feedback. Here are some of the highlights. For more information, see eBay's Marketing Announcement Board at http://www2.ebay.com/aw/marketing.shtml
1) eBay will NOT pre-fill the Buyer's phone number on the Shipping Address page and expects this modification to be completed within the next few days.
2) eBay has reinstated the "Payment Reminder" link in My eBay.
3) eBay will modify the "Total" field for buyers. When the seller has not filled in shipping information, instead of displaying an estimated total price, the buyer will be told that the price is "To be determined." eBay expect this modification to be completed within a few days.
4) eBay has modified the text when sellers do not list with Checkout details to "Seller will provide details in the item description or after the listing ends."
5) The eBay Payments icon will only show up if the seller accepts eBay Payments for that listing. (The eBay Payments icon had displayed even if the seller did not accept eBay Payments.)
6) eBay's listing tools Mister Lister and Seller Assistant beta now support Checkout.
