Auction site SellYourItem.com said it realized a substantial increases in both its membership base and auction listings in the weeks following eBay launch of its new "Checkout" feature. Since November 1, 2001, SellYourItem. com has seen an increase of 10% in its membership base and an increase in the auction listings by over 20%.

In other news, SellYourItem.com announced the release of its "Anti-Snipe" technology. This unique technology detects bidders who are waiting until seconds before an auction ends to make the last bid. The state of the art "Anti-Snipe" technology is configurable by the auction member who can decide if they want to extend the auction in such a case allowing the auction to have a fair ending for all bidders.
