eBay Tests Wine Sales, ChannelAdvisor to Assist WineSellers

New Vine Logistics and Winetasting.com will list wine on eBay in a new sub-category in the food and beverage section of eBay's Home & Garden category. eBay is testing the sale of wine among its users for a trial period in a controlled environment with several licensed and qualified sellers. Wine sold on eBay may only be shipped to U. S. addresses.
New Vine Logistics and Winetasting. com have been properly vetted, and each is licensed to handle the sales and shipping of wine products in accordance with all applicable state and local regulations and laws. During the trial period, the licensed sellers will be the only User ID's able to sell wine on eBay. During this period, all other sellers wanting to sell wine on eBay must go through one of the licensed, vetted sellers.
ChannelAdvisor Corporation announced that it will provide the two wine-sellers with its enterprise marketplace management solution. ChannelAdvisor also announced the appointment of Dan Endres as Vice President of Sales. Dan will manage ChannelAdvisor's growing sales division.
