ChannelAdvisor announced that Acer, a PC vendor, has chosen ChannelAdvisor's solution to help it sell its line of TravelMate notebook and Veriton desktop products on eBay. ChannelAdvisor says that Acer joins more than thirty brand-name retailers, manufacturers and direct marketers who are selling successfully on consumer marketplaces with the help of its auction-management services.
Established in 1977 as a subsidiary of the Acer Group, Acer America Corporation designs, builds and markets client and server solutions. Other computer companies using ChannelAdvisor's services to sell on eBay are IBM, Iomega and Ingram Micro.
