Revolution Magazine reports that MSN and eBay have signed a one-year deal that will see eBay become MSN UK's premier auction partner. Branding for the auction site will be featured across the MSN network. The deal is part of an agreement announced on March 12, 2001, in which the two companies promised broad cooperation between their sites and services. Specifically, eBay said it would support Microsoft .NET technologies; Microsoft said it would integrate eBay's marketplace into a number of its Web properties, including select MSN Internet service sites worldwide, Carpoint, bCentral and WebTV; and eBay said it would deploy Microsoft technology, including Windows 2000 Server and Microsoft Passport.
