eBay announced several policy changes on its auction site yesterday. In the past, sellers were not allowed to offer a bonus to bidders, such as including a gift if bidding reached a certain level. Now, sellers will be able to offer bonuses if the auction description clearly states the exact price at which the bonus will apply. The new "Bonus Items" policy can be found on eBay at: http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-list.html . eBay also stated it will no longer accept the sale of badges from private security companies. eBay also announced a holiday promotion. Every day from November 19th to December 26th, members have a chance to win a Movado watch, Callaway golf clubs, a $500 Visa card or other prizes during "Visa Magic Moments on eBay."
