The National Cartoonists Society (NCS) has invited each of its members to create a special cartoon for Thanksgiving Day and to include the URL for the Network For Good Web site http://www.networkforgood.org. The Network for Good Web site provides a portal through which readers can direct their contributions to their choice of relief organizations. The Network For Good will promote the project online and link to Yahoo Auctions http://auctions.yahoo.com, where readers will be able to bid on the original artwork from participating cartoonists from 6 am EST on Thanksgiving Day through December 3. Auction proceeds will go to The September 11th Fund.
