Yahoo! Shopping (http://shopping.yahoo.com)showed an increase of more than 75% over the same post-Thanksgiving Day weekend one year ago. "Yahoo! Shopping's strong weekend results reinforce our position as a premier shopping destination on the Internet, and as a leading enabler of Web transactions," said Rob Solomon, vice president and general manager of Yahoo! Shopping. Yahoo! cited the top seven categories for the week ending November 25: videogame console, electronics - digital cameras, compouters, toys, apparel (Women), apparel (men) and jewelry & watches. In the Toys category, the three most-searched items were Harry Potter merchandise, Barbie merchandise, and Lego Bionicles.
