Last month eBay launched a pilot program to test "Item Specifics," a new search feature. Item Specifics allows sellers to provide additional details that are easily searchable within categories. The pilot program launched in the Tickets categories. Sellers can provide information, such as date, location or event type. eBay says that using Item Specifics is optional for both sellers and buyers. It appears that eBay calls the new feature "Item Specifics" when addressing sellers:
