Nick Wingfield of the Wall Street Journal speculates on eBay's next acquisitions. eBay has a well-known strategy of growth through international expansion through acquiring auction sites in other countries. Who is next? And is it possible eBay could pull an "AOL" and purchase a large media outlet like Time-Warner? One expert says that, eventually, that would be a logical move. In discussing the attractiveness of purchasing a company like USA Interactive, Mr Vik Mehta of hedge fund Digital Century Capital, says, ""What if I have seven eBay channels continually bringing on small eBay sellers?" Sounds interesting, but I don't know if it would be "small" eBay sellers on those seven channels!
