eBay will be introducing a new feature on its auction search results page. A "Buy It Now" tab will allow shoppers to isolate auctions that have a Buy It Now feature. Buy It Now is a feature that enables shoppers to end an auction at a price preset by the seller. This is optional for sellers and proved popular with buyers during the Christmas holiday shopping period as they required speed and certainty for gift buying.
