AuctionWatch announced that it will launch a checkout feature to its auction management software next month. It will also integrate offline post-sale management functionality into its Sales Manager Business Edition product.
AuctionWatch said the new checkout feature will offer shopping cart/combined shipping functionality, allowing sellers to automatically combine separate purchases by the same buyer into a single order and seamlessly offer combined shipping discounts. Visitors to an AuctionWatch storefront will be able to place multiple items into a shopping cart and purchase the entire order via one checkout process.
AuctionWatch will allow users of its Sales Manager Business Edition (SMBE) to manage all post-sale activities offline. Post-sale activities include invoicing, payment, shipping, feedback and reminders. SMBE will continue to offer sellers an HTML editor, full SKU based inventory management, automated reporting, offline bulk editing and listing, and more. SMBE is a tool enabling management of all sales activities offline, requiring sellers to go online only to synchronize data with auction sites. The SMBE post-sale functionality will be added next month.
