HammerTap, a provider of online-auction software tools, has released a new version of FeeFinder. FeeFinder is an auction fee calculator, and Version 3.1 adds recent changes made by eBay to its Dutch Auction fees. FeeFinder also calculates the costs associated with receiving payment through PayPal and eBay Payments, the two most popular payment services used by eBay members. Fee Finder is a useful tool for strategizing how to list items and helps keep track of costs. Current users may update their copies of FeeFinder by triggering the auto-update feature from the help menu on the HammerTap Web site.
HammerTap also announced it will be releasing two new products soon. Auction Informant is an application for sellers who keep track of their auctions. It monitors all auctions of any specified seller and sends an email message any time a bid is placed or retracted on any item.
DeepAnalysis is a powerful software tool for those who need to analyze the eBay marketplace. It can scan and analyze market data in any eBay category for all auctions going back 30 days. It can then determine which items were most popular, which sold for the most and which got the most bids. It can also calculate how much each seller in that category sold and calculate their sell-through rates.
Auction Informant and Deep Analysis will be available soon. FeeFinder Version 3.1 is available now for download from the HammerTap Web site. It may be used for 30 days at no charge, after which it must be registered at a cost of $12.99. http://www.hammertap.com
