eBay signed a multi-year deal with Liquid Seats to sell tickets online. eBay members will have access to live-event tickets, including tickets to a professional and college sporting events, concerts, musicals and theatre productions. eBay will promote StubHub ticket listings throughout the eBay Web site....
Yahoo! Auctions revised its charity auctions guidelines. Valid 501c3 or equivalent charities who abide by these revised guidelines may list their auctions throughout Yahoo! Auctions and may promote their auctions as charity auctions in their title or description, but may not indicate that Yahoo! is involved in the collection or disbursement of funds. Check the Yahoo! We reported that eBay is revising its privacy policy, and word is that they doing it to make it easier to warn members about fraud offenders on the site....
Overstock is filing to go public. This is the company that scooped up the assets of bankrupt dot-coms and sold them on its site. My kind of company....
Old stock certificates can be more valuable than some of the stock in my portfolio. The Strasburg Stock, Bond and Currency Show will take place in Lancaster, PA, on March 14-17. Amazon.com Inc. announced that Warren Jenson, its Chief Financial Officer, intends to resign later this year. Mr. Jenson has served as the Company's CFO since September 1999.
