ChannelAdvisor Raises Rates for Online-Auction Management Software

ChannelAdvisor Corporation announced it is increasing rates for its ChannelAdvisor Pro software effective May 1, 2002. The monthly subscription will increase from $19.95/month to $29.95/month, and the yearly subscription will increase from $180/year to $270/year. This is the first increase in subscription fees.
ChannelAdvisor Pro automates the selling process for sellers on auction sites eBay, Yahoo! Auctions, Amazon Auctions and uBid. The company was launched in July 1999 as AuctionRover, was purchased by GoTo Auctions, and, in 2001, was spun off to become ChannelAdvisor Corporation. The company first began charging fees for its software in March 2001.
Charter members who signed up at that time were promised a set annual fee of $120 as long as they did not have a lapse in service. Charter members, which make up about half of ChannelAdvisor users, will not be affected by the upcoming price increase. For more information, visit:
