Wells Fargo & Company announced it is integrating its secure, full-service payment service and processing solution with Intuit's new QuickBooks Point of Sale software for retailers.
The new QuickBooks POS Merchant Service gives small business retailers an option for accepting credit card payments at the point of sale and automatically loading those transactions from their QuickBooks Point of Sale software into their QuickBooks 2002 accounting software. This eliminates the need for time-consuming manual input, reducing the costs associated with administration and potentially reducing the number of errors made during that process.
This marks the first time that real-time payments integration has been available at the point of sale directly into the QuickBooks accounting software. With 1.6 million small business customers, Wells Fargo is the largest small-business lender in the United States. http://www.wellsfargo.com/biz/
