VH1 Save The Music Foundation will kick off a fundraising campaign for charity on eBay today. The series of exclusive charity auctions will raise money in support of music education for children nationwide.
The first of the VH1 Save The Music charity auctions will be held in a live auction event today, May 23, when Cher, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige, the Dixie Chicks and host Ellen DeGeneres rock Las Vegas during the "VH1 Divas Las Vegas: A Concert To Benefit The VH1 Save The Music Foundation." Each of the stars will wear a luxury watch donated by Audemars Piguet with a total value exceeding $100,000. The watches, engraved with the celebrities' signatures, are currently listed on eBay Live Auctions. With eBay Live Auctions, online bidders around the world can place bids and participate in the excitement of this auction, while bidders at the "VH1 Divas Las Vegas" event place bids on the watches as well. This charity auction ends after the concert with the highest bids announced at the official party after the show at the MGM Grand.
