AuctionHelper hired a new Chief Technology Officer and will be launching new and improved products, the company announced yesterday. Brian Lynch will become Chief Technology Officer at AuctionHelper beginning June 1. Mr. Lynch previously held the positions at Aceva Technologies, a financial software provider; CheckOut.com, where he was instrumental in the development of a web-based commerce and fulfillment system; and the Digital Broadband Division of IBM, where he contributed in the development of a satellite-based digital distribution system.
AuctionHelper's cofounder and Chief Architect Jerry Lynch (no relation to Brian) will now be free to concentrate on developing ideas to help sellers increase their sales. "Jerry will be extremely involved in creating new ideas and new methods for our sellers to both save time during the auction management process and increase sales," according to AuctionHelper's announcement.
AuctionHelper develops tools for online-auction sellers. The company will launch a new version of AuctionLynxx next week, and will launch a newly designed Web site next month offering additional functionality.
