eBay will host the auction of a royal vacation donated by the England's Queen Elizabeth. Starting today through June 18, eBay will be offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to vacation like royalty at Balmoral, England's royal family estate located in the highlands of Scotland.
In the 50th anniversary year of Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's reign on the throne, Queen Elizabeth has made the gracious offer of a 7-day vacation stay for up to 12 people in her world famous Alltnaguibhsaich Lodge. The lodge is a vacation cottage (with 9 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms) on the beautiful grounds of the historic Balmoral Estate. Prince Albert bought the lodge for Queen Victoria in 1852.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit the NFL Alumni "Caring for Kids" charity. The winning bidder of will be allowed to ride and tour the grounds on one of the Queen's ponies, picnic in the sunken gardens, read under a tree by Queen Victoria's garden house or stroll the banks of the River Dee and enjoy the finest fishing Scotland has to offer.
