eBay said over the next few weeks it will introduce changes to the End of Auction email designed to give clearer directions to both buyers and sellers. An instruction box will be placed at the top of every End of Auction notice that will guide buyers and sellers on what should happen next.

"We are not removing any information currently contained in the End of Auction email. We will be adding a new subject line, however, that will allow a seller to tell in a glance if their item has sold or not," the announcement read.
