eBay Makes New Form Default for Sellers

eBay said its Sell Your Item version 2.0 will become the default listing form this week. The change will occur over the course of 1-2 days.

The Sell Your Item form is used by sellers to list items for sale on eBay. Sellers use the form to include a description, photos and payment & shipping information as well as defining the length and type of listing.

Sellers will have the option to continue to use the old form even after Sell Your Item 2.0 becomes the default listing form. Because the old form will eventually be removed, eBay is encouraging sellers to begin using the new form.

Sellers can bookmark the old Sell Your Item form during the transition period using the URL http://pages.ebay.com/sell/index_old.html . eBay said it will inform users before removing the old form.
