Reading AuctionBytes: Sprint eBay Store Kicks off with Charity Auctions

Sprint has opened a storefront on eBay. eBay members will be able to choose from two different denominations of Sprint Prepaid PhoneCards, with rates as low as 4.2 cents per domestic minute. ChannelAdvisor Corporation will develop and manage the store for Sprint.

To kick off the new storefront, Sprint has placed one million minutes of prepaid domestic long distance for auction on eBay with proceeds to benefit a camp for seriously-ill children. The Victory Junction Gang Camp for children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses is scheduled to open in the summer of 2004. The charity auction will end at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2002.
