"Sniping" is a term used for online bidding that takes place during the last few minutes of an auction. Many bidders believe sniping helps prevent bidding wars and hope that their bid will be the last received before the clock runs out.

eSnipe 3.0 has an improved user-friendly format with a new layout design. New features include outbid notification, bid groupings and novice and expert modes, which will allow users to improve their bidding strategies and win rates on eBay.
