eBay is holding a 4-day-long free listing and penny gallery day sale for eBay Stores inventory items. eBay will waive the insertion fees for listing inventory in its storefronts during the sale. In addition, all "gallery" feature fees for store inventory will be one penny.
The sale runs from Monday, August 12, 2002, between 00:00:01 PST (12:00 AM plus one second on August 12, 2002) through 23:59:59 PST on Thursday, August 15, 2002 (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds).
Regular auction-style listings, Fixed Price listings, eBay Motors, Premier, Real Estate, International, and Professional Services listings are excluded from the eBay Stores Free Listing Day. In addition, all other fees will still be charged.
eBay announced the sale at 10am on Monday, August 12.
