eBay said its Turbo Lister tool, announced in June, is now available for download. eBay Turbo Lister is a desktop software program to help sellers create eBay listings more quickly and easily.
eBay Turbo Lister offers a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface, new HTML templates, bulk-load capability and an ability to save product descriptions for future re-listing. Turbo Lister is free to download. Use of the software's scheduling tool will incur a 10-cent fee.
The first version of Turbo Lister will not support uploading to eBay Motors, eBay Real Estate, eBay Live Auctions, or Sothebys.com; support for these specialty sites will be added in the coming months.
eBay Turbo Lister will eventually replace eBay's current listing tool, Mister Lister. eBay said it will continue to support Mister Lister until at least early 2003 and would give users at least 90 days notice before support is discontinued.
