TIAS.com, claiming to be the largest catalog of antiques and collectibles online, said they now offer over half a million items, and sales are exceeding expectations.
The TIAS.com site brings together offerings from over 800 merchants, allowing them to sell their antiques and collectible in a fixed-price format online. A search engine ties all offerings together, making it easier for consumers to find what they are looking for. The system also allows sellers to port items to other marketplaces, including eBay.
Phillip Davies, President of TIAS.com, co-founded the site in 1995. He said sales for the month of September are exceeding last year's Christmas sales numbers. Systems designed by TIAS currently serve over 100,000 unique customers a day.
